Q. Can you share some insights into how Nestlé Georgia ensures the quality and safety of its baby food products?

A. Nestlé, as a leading multinational corporation, places a high priority on the quality and safety of its products, particularly in the realm of baby food. To uphold these standards, Nestlé implements stringent quality control measures throughout the entire production process, from the sourcing of raw materials to the manufacturing and packaging of the final products.

Nestlé strictly adheres to established food safety standards and regulations to ensure that its baby food products meet industry-wide safety requirements. The company is committed to sourcing high-quality and safe ingredients, with a strong emphasis on traceability and transparency within the supply chain.

Nestlé also values the feedback of consumers and caregivers, using this to continuously improve its baby food products and address any safety concerns or issues. It is important to note that a hotline is provided on product packaging, allowing consumers to contact us with questions or to report any negative experiences.

Q. How does Nestlé stay ahead of consumer trends and preferences in the baby food market in Georgia?

A. Nestlé remains at the forefront of the baby food market by prioritizing market research, nutritional innovation, and sustainability. We offer a diverse range of products tailored to various stages of a baby’s development, as well as local preferences.

Furthermore, we actively collaborate with medical institutions to enhance mothers’ understanding of proper nutrition for infants from a medical perspective. This partnership ensures that our offerings are informed by the latest health guidelines and recommendations.

Nestlé is committed to meeting consumer demands for convenience, transparency, and ethical sourcing. By focusing on these key areas, we ensure that our products remain relevant and attractive to caregivers in Georgia.

Q. Can you discuss the challenges you faced in the baby food market and how you surmounted them?

A. The most significant challenge we face is the declining birth rate, which has decreased by 17% over the past five years, coupled with intense competition. Currently, there are over 15 manufacturers in the market. In this competitive environment, it is particularly gratifying to have been awarded the title of Golden Brands for the seventh time.

Our success can be attributed to our commitment to high product quality, effective communication with medical personnel, and ensuring the accessibility of our products in every corner of the country.

Q. How does Nestlé Georgia engage with healthcare professionals and parents to promote informed choices in infant nutrition?

A. In compliance with the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes (WHO Code), Nestlé refrains from directly promoting infant formula to parents. Instead, we prioritize engaging healthcare professionals by providing scientifically backed, evidence-based information about infant nutrition to assist them in guiding their recommendations. This engagement is conducted in a non-commercial manner, ensuring that healthcare professionals are equipped with the knowledge necessary to advise parents appropriately.

We offer educational materials to healthcare providers, including training sessions and informational resources, aimed at supporting informed decisions regarding infant feeding practices. Our focus is on promoting the benefits of breastfeeding while providing clear and responsible information about infant nutrition options, without undermining breastfeeding preferences.
