Speckomforti’s Growth Strategy: Building up Product Offerings and Customer Service in 2025

Georgian construction materials company Speckomforti has kicked off 2025 with ambitious new strategies aimed at innovation and enhanced customer service. One major initiative includes the introduction of a cutting-edge production line designed to boost efficiency and expand product offerings.

The company’s plans will also lead to the creation of new jobs, directly benefiting the local communities of Mtskheta and Tserovani. Speckomforti emphasizes its commitment to local employment and professional development as part of its social responsibility, reinforcing the link between a thriving business and a stronger community.

Meanwhile, last year, the company launched a modern sand and gravel processing plant in the Aragvi Gorge, located in the Dusheti region, which has increased its supply of quality raw materials.

Gela Labadze the Chief Executive Officer of Speckomofrti, told Golden Brand that one of the major successes for the company in 2024 was entering the Armenian market.

“Our exports are not limited to just supplying materials; we also offer paving and curb laying services. This demonstrates the multifunctionality of our company and our commitment to achieving the highest standards of service,” he said.

“This is a significant step forward that strengthens Speckomforti’s international position. Our long-term development strategy focused on exports is actively progressing, allowing our products to reach other countries in the region.”

Q. Speckomforti has won the Golden Brand in the category “Vibrated Concrete Products.” What are the main advantages that led the company to win in this nomination?

A. The primary advantages of Speckomforti lie in our commitment to quality, technological innovation, and high standards of service. We produce high-quality vibro-pressed building materials, which are known for their strength, durability, and ecological safety.

Speckomforti, established in 2015, has quickly become a leader in the building materials market, emphasizing modern European standards, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility. With three major production facilities spanning 20,000 square meters and a dedicated laboratory, we produce high-quality vibro-pressed materials known for their strength and durability.

In 2024 we launched a modern sand and gravel processing plant in the Aragvi Gorge, in Dusheti region, increasing our supply of quality raw materials.

Since 2021 we have provided our customers with both products and services in one space. We have provided the service company with state-of-the-art equipment that is currently unmatched in Georgia. This equipment plays a crucial role in developing industrial zones, as it can lay between 1,200 and 1,400 square meters of paving in just eight hours.

This innovative equipment has enabled us to participate in complex projects, such as the Dry Port construction in the capital city of Tbilisi.

Moreover, our new paving technologies have drawn interest from our neighboring countries. Last year, we completed a project in Yerevan, Armenia, involving the construction of a 10,000 square meter parking lot for a shopping and business center.

Q. The company offers more than 100 types of vibro-pressed products to the market. Does the company manage to meet market demand – both in terms of product types and quantity – or do you plan to develop in this area?

A. Speckomforti produces over 100 types of vibro-pressed building materials and fully meets market demands regarding both product variety and quantity. However, the construction sector is constantly evolving; thus, our priority is growth and technological advancement. To this end, in March the company launched a new, more modern facility, which will increase our production capacity and enable us to offer innovative materials to the market.

Speckomforti provides a comprehensive solution for the construction industry, which includes not only high-quality vibro-pressed materials but also complete service offerings. Our product range includes paving stones, curbs, pumice blocks, concrete blocks, facing materials, and other construction elements, all known for their strength, durability, and ecological integrity.

In addition to manufacturing, Speckomforti offers transportation services and assistance with the installation of paving stones and curbs. This means customers receive a complete range of services in one place, saving time and resources while ensuring the highest quality.

Q. Speckomforti has its own laboratory. What advantages does it provide the company?

A. Speckomforti operates a modern laboratory that meets the highest international standards. Such a fully equipped laboratory focused specifically on the research of vibro-pressed building materials is rare in our country, giving Speckomforti a competitive advantage. The entire production cycle, from the receipt of raw materials to the sale of finished products, undergoes comprehensive quality control.

Having our own laboratory not only guarantees reliability for Speckomforti but also enables us to constantly produce and develop building materials that are well-adapted to the increasing demands of the market. We also have a solar power plant on our premises, which allows us to use our own electricity for production and underscores our commitment to environmental issues.

Q. What has Speckomforti contributed to the local market?

A. Speckomforti has introduced not just products but also a new level of competition in the local market, which ultimately benefits consumers. Our active participation has intensified competition, leading to higher quality standards for construction materials. As a result, consumers now enjoy a wider selection and the opportunity to choose high-quality products. Speckomforti has opened up new opportunities in the market, leading to improved outcomes for every consumer.
